Mmmm. Isn't Faye Turney being paid by The Sun to make interesting reading? Take with a pinch of salt. The Sun never let the truth get in the way of a good story - the lowest form of media in the UK.

I think the last thing on the mind of Faye Turney would be to come up with some quick-witted, spontaneous remark. Bear in mind they were still being prodded and poked by Iraqi soldiers at this point. She doesn't look the most spontaneous or cerebral of ladies to me. The "I don't know, Mr President, I haven’t seen her for 13 days - remember?" just doesn't ring true - she had been on HMS Cornwall for several weeks before she was captured so in all likelihood hadn't seen her daughter for much longer than that fortnight.

I can't really disagree with you AGS, which means I myself might be in for a flaming! I think I would have been a bit more subtle in my description of her.

Mate, she is a brave soldier out in a hellhole and I appreciate her for that, but whoring out to the most mendacious newspaper in the UK is pretty much unforgivable.

Most peeps here know that I pull no punches and what has happened and the way this whole episode has been handled has been despicable.

I just thought it was an interesting story...I never said it was absolutely true...it would be the first thing that the brits actually did right in this case.

Well said AGS and you know one of the most disturbing comments came from arch neocon John Bolton in the FT he said that Britain screwed up the whole event

Now when this f**king arsehole ever gets anything right you have to take notice

    But facts are facts
And John Bolton got this 100% correct in The Financial Times

This is very worrying has Tony Blair now completely lost it now because he is having an affair with Nancy Pelosi:eek:

    Total Embarrassment Nothing Less

Bolton frightens the bastard life out of me mate. Not as much as Bush or Cheney do, but he's still an absolute horror. :(

He's an insane neocon lunatic mate, that is what he is.

Plus he was also a prominent participator in PNAC mate, the guy is an absolute insane neocon and is definitely a major danger to world peace.

but does that make him an illuminati...after all, he was "put" into his position at the UN, and not elected...did that come from the higher ups?
