You should read before automatically launching into unthinking automatic responses. The White House stated it was wrong and and criticized FEMA. FEMA - what in the world were they thinking? Were they that scared of the media? They had no reason from I have seen to be hiding from the media this time around, even last time the blame during Katrina coming from people was more like they blame FEMA for the hurricane and for rescue when neither is FEMA's job. The problems they really had last time was more on track with the problems every part of gov't seems to have. They can't keep track of anything and throw money at a problem like it was water on a fire. Problem is money burns, especially if handed out unaccounted for and to anyone they saw.
