Uggh.. I hate to hear that. So many people make it sound easy. I'm stumbling some myself but not giving up.

What are you promoting? Where is the traffic coming from?

I'm promoting a few different things, as my ads run on a few different sites I have. I'm trying things like ringtones, "text message chatting" services and a few dating services. The traffic is text messaging related. A lot of the traffic is organic, some is from MySpace, which I know usually converts like shit.

I think I need to move to more free offers, like free sidekick 3's and ps3's and stuff like that.

if your doing organic search traffic then the converisions are going to be quite a bit lower than with ppc.

are these 40-60 clicks on your site, or is that a click through to the azoogle offer landing page?

You may or may not be getting killed, but 40-60 clicks is just too small of a data set to tell any significant trends. If you got a conversion now you could have a CR of 1.6%, but then you might get 3 in a row with the next 10 clicks which would throw your CR up to 5.7%. You really need a few hundred clicks to smooth out the stats and make any kind of accurate decisions.

I agree completely your volume is small so it is hard to tell. It could be just your traffic isn't interested in what you are promoting try something else, try another offer... maybe an easy signup like zip or email or try something off the wall you would be surprised what converts on some sites. but i can say this once you find somethign that works you will start finding ways on other sites to stray away from adsense... or atleast promote more CPA.

I agree with the agree and the agree. Too little data to tell. You can't make any conclusions based on 40-60 clicks. If you next two clicks convert you would be doing exceedingly well.

One thing you need to learn is patience. You can't over-react based on small datasets.

I understand it's a small number, but it's been 40-60 clicks for over a week + without any conversions. So it's around like 350-450 clicks now without any conversions. My overall eCPC is down to like .03 cents now since I started using Azoogle in December.

I'm doing well with certain offers from CJ, but I'm having a hard time with Azoogle unfortunately.

nate, you have to do more testing. Your visitors are not responding because some of the offers you're offering they have seen on hundreds of other websites.

If you can give them a fresh new offer or promote an already seen offer in a different way, you should start to see conversions.

But you must Test, test and test. It's not easy.

Ringtones are saturated and your organic traffic is not directly related to ringtones. Myspace traffic is basically as good as having no traffic. Your volume is still too small to determine the problem. Keep promoting and see how you do.

Why are new people still jumping on the ringtones bandwagon? There are so many other great offers outthere. Test different markets and once you find something that works, hammer it. Simply doesn't make sense to put all eggs in the ringtones basket

I did only because my Azoogle AM suggested I start there (knowing I was new to affiliate marketing). I was also advised to try some of the dating offers but haven't yet.

I've since tested some other things (not Azoogle) and am profiting pretty nicely while my ringtones site (which took a lot of effort) is so far a big steamer.

With ringtones I've tested everywhere from .06 to $1+ bids, running 10+ ads, tracking to keyword level, landing page mods, 20k+ keywords, etc. etc. basically spending all this time unable to get a ROI. At the same time my other venture (promoting a CB product) was steadily making money with "no work". So with Shoemoney telling me it can be done, I'm obviously still doing something wrong ... but my thought was to cut my losses and focus on what was making $. There was more I could have tested but how long do I sit and dump time in to something that isn't working for me? Only so many hours in a day...

Ya to be honest I have not done any new ppc for ringtones for a LONG time but the campaigns I have running have been running for months they all make atleast 4x roi. If your using Google forget it... unless you have years of history with adwords your going to pay out the nose if your just starting out. MSN is still the best deal in town IMHO

Yes I am using primarily Adwords and no I don't have a long history with them. I'll concentrate my ringtones campaign on Adcenter and see what happens. Thanks!
