Hey, Can someone please answer these (hopefully simple) queries I have with regard to RSS feeds on Wordpress blogs. (1) What EXACTLY do feeds do? (2) How would I implement them on a WordPress blog? (3) What is the BEST WAY to utilise feeds? Thanks - I would be looking at putting them on the following site: Arsenal FC Blog
(1) What EXACTLY do feeds do? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_feed (2) How would I implement them on a WordPress blog? It's there on your site:http://arsenalfcblog.com/feed
feeds will hel you to add your new post easily auto update in search engines and also many user only use feeds to read the post of your blog
feeds helps a lot, it will take you some time to learn. i just added feeds in my blog, am not giving the blog link here. you can pm me for the link. thanks
Just wanted to say 'thanks' for your help. I now have my feed up and running thanks to your good help. Check it out if you like!
Feeds are extremly important for any blog site. There are some important tools that you can use to measure the readership of you blog through that feed. I highly recommend signing up with FeedBurner.com. The site will allow you to monitor and publicize your feed better. Practically every major blogger uses this service. It is a MUST!
Never fear, I have signed up with FeedBurner! Just letting the fella who helped me know he was helpful!
Glad to know that you followed my advice. Be sure to get the feedburner replacement plugin now for your blog. It converts your non-feedburner feed links to feedbaurner links. Helps count subscribers.
Sounds good - but I think I may have already done this? Maybe not? Can you check my site and let me know if I have already, and if I haven't, let me know how!? Cheers!
Doesn't look like you've got the feedburner replacement plugin set up. Look at your blog's footer, you'll see links to your site's feed. If the plugin was working, you'd be sent to the feedburner version of the feed. Download it and then activate. It is very simple.
Hey just thought I'd let you know that I took your advice and got the feedburner set up. Things are working perfectly well - thanks so much for the help.
