    Hey,

Can someone please answer these (hopefully simple) queries I have with regard to RSS feeds on Wordpress blogs.

    (1) What EXACTLY do feeds do?
    (2) How would I implement them on a WordPress blog?
    (3) What is the BEST WAY to utilise feeds?

Thanks - I would be looking at putting them on the following site: Arsenal FC Blog

Feeds are extremly important for any blog site. There are some important tools that you can use to measure the readership of you blog through that feed. I highly recommend signing up with FeedBurner.com. The site will allow you to monitor and publicize your feed better. Practically every major blogger uses this service. It is a MUST!

Glad to know that you followed my advice. Be sure to get the feedburner replacement plugin now for your blog. It converts your non-feedburner feed links to feedbaurner links. Helps count subscribers.

Doesn't look like you've got the feedburner replacement plugin set up. Look at your blog's footer, you'll see links to your site's feed. If the plugin was working, you'd be sent to the feedburner version of the feed. Download it and then activate. It is very simple.
