Site is CUSTOM coded except for the RSS parser which has been changed around a little bit. Includes a simple admin panel for creating urls and an extensive readme documentation written by me. RSS feeds cached for the amount of time you specify. Great domain registered at namecheap. Photoshop PSD and fonts included.

Some traffic from Digg and Netscape. Has made $2.33 in the past 3 days and that's without trying (keywords pay well)

Does "add your own feed" add it to a database or to the site? Or are the feeds listed manually by you?

 

Add your own feed creates a cache for the feed and can then be seen via the url provided. All this is explained in the readme.

Also if anybody wants customization of the categories or feeds before they buy, I could easily do that for you, but that also is explained in the readme.

How much traffic do you have to the site?

Is it a free transfer of the domain?

 

The transfer of the domain is a free push from namecheap, i didn't put a tracker on the site but if I go by adsesne, within the past 5 days there have been over 1,000 views and 5 clicks.

If you build some traffic to it, it'll surely do better than that

Could do a lot better. I just made this site with the intent of selling it, since I realized I don't have time for it.

believe it or not, it doesnt have them, all it has is a basic visitor tracker, but i have more than one site hosted on the server.

transfer is allowed if done to a different account at namecheap, its quick and free

all you need is an account, and that only takes a few minutes to set up.

just an FYI- if the feed reader doesnt have an SQL database backend, I assume you're parsing the feed everytime someone accesses the page.

This is not a wise idea. If traffic on the site ever get larger, there's a good chance the site will become slow as hell or even crash. Not to mention you're going to piss off the feed owners becuase you're constantly polling for the data.

Best bet is to set up a CRON job in your web server and run a script every x minutes that parses the feed and puts it in a database.

Hi! Thanks for the input, the site caches the feed and as a configurable update interval for updating them. so it should be fine
