hey all, Little history: My blog is about 5 and half month old, and in first 4months i didn get any traffic from google...though i was posting quite frequently...90% of my traffic was from referring sites (Ballhype, Footballblips etc)..than all of a sudden last month my site ranked very well in Google for what ever i post you know...... it remained like that for more than a week, so i got loads of traffic from google in that time.....than week and half later google stopped ranking my post on first page...infect no where near first pages....but google was indexing them for sure.....did i get penalized or something ??? as far as i remember i registered at feedjit, and i got loads of backlinks from them...which i didn know about before i joined...apart from that i started commenting on other blogs as well......so i developed some backlinks....when i check my back links it shows loads of back links from Feedjit.....http://www.backlinkwatch.com...may be that coz the surge and than the penalty or something ???? so my question is why all of a sudden i got so much traffic from google, and why i lost all of that traffic from google suddenly ???? any idea MY BLOG: Football Video highlights

I think you need to update your posts or pages regularly for which you wished to be ranked in Google. Say you have made a post 4 months ago and then it ranked well in Google but you have not updated that page since. so it might loose the position in Google SERP. You should also bring some back links for those pages for which you wished to get good SERP. As far as Feedjit is concerned, I think it is good that you got some back links but only back links from feedjit is not sufficient. Link building is a continuous process. So you should keep try building links. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any more questions
This is an interesting case for me because I'm also use freedjit services. I waiting for another members response to help.
These kind of serp ranking movements are quite common with google If you had ranked well that means you can again rank well in that position So keep posting useful content as well as building related links and just be patient To put it simple, these kind of serp movements i have experienced each time before my site ranked well in google, it is something which happens, ask me why....well don't know
I've looked it over, and I don't think this widget had anything to do with your rise or fall in SERPS.
