Hi all Webmasters, I have a wordpress blog on site http://www.architecture-student.com/ Now, I use Feedburner account to manage my RSS feeds, and also use Adsense for Feeds. But I noticed that whenever I update a new post, my email subscribers get Google ads in their mail along with the post. Is this Okay? I have read that it is against Google TOS to send ads via email. But I am not doing it. The ads are hardcoded into the articles. Feedburner is the one sending adsense ads along with the posts. If this could be a problem, how can I solve it? Appreciate all the help.. Cheers!
I guess its ok .adsense itself provides that option ,so there isn't anything wrong with using it .You just can't go e-mailing the ads to everyone but you can to your subscribers that requested the e-mails, I guess.
do u include the ads in ur post ??? or do they include it automatically ?? coz if they include it automatically u dont need to work coz feedburner is now owned by google
You can check any of the posts on my blog. The Ads have been coded in the body. So technically, the ads are a part of the post. That is why I am confused about its legality.
The ad is inside the body of email. When I move my mouse over the ad, the status bar shows the url http://feedads.g.doubleclick.net The ad appears below the title of the post. You might want to check out the screen that I see...
Here is the answer from the Adsense for Feeds Program Policies: https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=107137
no its perfectly fine. feedburner is not in anybody's control. it is being controlled b google itself.
