Feedburner Readers/Subscribers?

    How does the feedburner widget button work - the one that lists the number of subscribers?

    Does this number not include the number of email subscribers or is there another widget that i should be using for email subscribers?

    My button currently says 2 readers, however there are three registered email subscribers at this time.

    Or does it just take a while to update?

    There is a delay in the updates - it used to update once every 24 hours when I used it. Though I think it lists the email and reader subscribers separately. There is another widget you can use for email subscribers.

    Sometimes you can calculate the feed subscriber count, hits and reach by entering a formula in your browser as described at Digital Inspiration...
