Feedburner Is Moving To Google - Move Your Account!

Today, when I woke up I checked my blog as I do everyday, suddenly I seen my feeds count shows 0 subscribers. It looked like a nightmare in the morning.

Anyway, I went to check my feedburner account and I've found that feedburner is moving to Google. Since Google's acquisition of FeedBurner, Inc. on June 1, 2007, they have been moving the FeedBurner application to Google hardware, software, and data centers. This allows the application to scale and perform like most Google applications and integrate easily with other Google platforms. It also means more reliability in delivering your content, analytics, and monetization, as well as a more secure and consistent experience for your users.

It happens all the time. In fact not all people who subscribe to your feed get listed on Feedburner. Oh well...

I'm just curios why it was a "nightmare". How does it matter what the feedburner number shows? Do you monetize the feed subscribers directly?

    It's 28th February!

Because I think the feed url has been changed, it was http://feeds.feedburner.com/your-feed-name and now it's http://feeds2.feedburner.com/your-feed-name

Because I have 125 loyal feed readers, it's really important! Losing them is such a nightmare!

We lost some people as well. It's mostly fixed. I guess in a couple of days things will right itself. I lost about 50 of our 350 subscribers. I know they did not all leave, so hopefully they return to the count. I feel your pain and nightmare.

We know that, but now they are moving it to be integrated in their applications or webmasters tools.
