feedburner email subscription ?

i have had this feedburner coded into the left side of my blog and it has a place where you enter the name and email.. then the go button..

when you click the go button a new window pops up.. BUT... i get this message....

a RED X- The feed does not have subscriptions by email enabled

how do i fix this?

 

goto your feedburner account and click publicize. There will be Email subscription link on left click that link and then activate the subscriptions.

 

do you have to go to feedburners website and register?? i dont think im a member? i just hired someone to put the code in my wordpress sidebar..

is it the feedburner where you sign in at google????

ok i had someone put it in.. now when u enter email, you must verify it..

i guess this is right.

 

ok i tried subscribing with two of my emails..i went and verified after i subscribed, through email... then i logged into my feedburner account and it says subscribers- 0
