I like the banner. The rest is clean which is nice, but it looks very much like Facebook.

 

I am talking about the HTML (the markup, not the design!)

 

Well it validates HTML strict so that is very good.

I'm shocked at how many portfolio's I see where their examples aren't even valid (its the most basic thing, and isn't hard to do!)
