There's a minor design issue in the 800x600 resolution, the ads ruin the liquidity therefore throwing in the horizontal scrollbars
Yeah I know... the only option is to use one of the smaller formats, but they don't look as good IMO.
As a follow up to Josh's idea what about a tiny little dp logo right before it says ads by Google or whatever? We are using our favicon (jpg version) in certain tables on one of our sights. Shannon
I'll mess around with it a bit at some point, but I want to run it "as-is" for a couple days so I have some stats to compare against when I start changing it.
Thats wise. Another thing you might want to try, is add a padding to the top and bottom of the ads, so the container its in is a bit taller, and more visable Josh
I flicked over to the blue version but noticed the buttons are still green, kinda spoils it a little. Prefer the green though, remember when he changed it to green and we were all thinking, urgh?
The ads should now be blue too, see previous posts by Shawn. ha, If only the logo and buttons now matched..
Just an idea, you might try putting the ad links at the bottom of the last post. I think people would be a lot more inclined to click after finishing the thread- especialy if they lead to more info that the thread doesn't have.
I guess I should correct that, according to adsense there are no clicks?? but some pennies being pushed my way. Funny what the reports say sometimes.
