    Hi

    I've spent the past week of so finalising the layout and colour scheme for my website, it's online and slowly building content.

    Can i have some first impressions, pro advice and anything else you may help me with.

    Ok you're gonna hate me here. Especially if you spent a lot of time on the layout and colour scheme.

    My number 1 comment is gonna be... Loose the gradients. It looks like the site was built 10 years ago. Read up on
    web 2.0 and color schemes. A very good side that would help you out is http://kuler.adobe.com/#themes/rating?time=30

    There are a lot of swatches and color schemes that are simply gorgeous.

    The layout is fine, all it needs is to get rid of all the gradients and either make them very very subtle or don't use them at all.

    Sorry if i was harsh but i hope you take the comments constructively.

    Good layout, but bad aesthetics value. I tend to agree with Necroplasm - the gradients don't look very good and you should aim for more subtle effects.

    It's obvious you have the skills, just browse some web galleries for inspiration and fresh ideas.
