I tried to set-up a badminton shop online using the Associate-O-Matic amazon affiliate script at http://www.badmintonshop.info Can you guys give feedback on how to improve the site before I start to market it? If you have a successful Amazon affiliate store, then it will be much better!
First u must do SEO on ur website and also take good links dear in that case you can get good visitors and increase ur aim.
Thanks.. should I put a blog in there and make some posts to bring the search engines traffic? I was just trying to use Adwords to bring in some visitors.. got a few clicks but mostly stopped until the checkout process.. guess they were scared of Amazon?
change your color combination.. the colors are clashing. also center your logo or put an ad to the right of it. Also i would remove the proudly affiliated with amazon on your logo... it may stop people to click thru your aff code if they know your gonna make money off of them buying a product thru your site.
Personally, I think being affiliated with Amazon is a plus. People trust a big outfit like them as opposed to a small site marketing by themselves. In my opinion you fonts in the navigation are too small. Also in rackets alone you have 390 to offer so you need to get rid of the master list and leave it broken down to brands types and price which you have done. I would put a variety of feature products on the home page to whet the appetite and then let them use your navigation to narrow the search. You have a proliferation of products and have done a good job on your classifications. Your colors could be more lively. Good luck!
