are you kidding me? You think the contrast difference is enough that people could sue? A couple of things here. I'm not sure how you'd go about suing a site that offers an non-essential online service. You don't *NEED* to access it in the first place... People who have visual impairments often have screen readers which will read a website, and that' why the 'title' tag in HTML exists, so images can be 'read' my machines. If you can't handle the colour contrasts, you also have the option to view the page with no stylesheet as well. Given all of those options: not using the website, using a screen reader, or disabling stylesheets..... I just can't see how somebody could still justify suing. I mean, there are people who have disabilities such that they cannot operate a computer - should they sue google for not being accessible to them? For some tasks sight is inherently necessary - and there's no way a law can change that. I'm sorry, that's life. A blind person can't be a pilot, simply because sight is required. It's not Boeing's fault that their planes are accessible to blind pilots, it's just the way it is. I'm all for making things as accessible as possible, but I don't live in constant fear of being sued by people too bitter about their disabilities to try to legally extort money from other people they don't like....
