Begin with saying hi to DP.

I'm developing a sales page for custom made apps for golf clubs: http://test.mycaddie.net/

Having little experience in this kind of work I'd greatly appreciate input. Specifically on
    • Site flow and linking - is this page well structured to get customers to contact us?
    • Visual layout. What is good and what can be improved?
    • Testimonials - how important are they? How do I get them?

I have some things to point out if that's okay:

    • The page is very white and kind of boring. It also seems like the right side is too blank.
    • Your website is not compatible with Internet Explorer 10. The boxes merge into each other.
    • Even on compatibility mode in IE 10, the Contact Us page does not display correctly - the boxes where you enter the username etc. are tiny and all stacked together.
    • Is it youCaddie or yourCaddie? Because in the article in the about section is says Yourcaddie, with the wrong capital letter as well.
    • Also in the about section, this is a fragment sentence: And for them to promote your club through the apps integration to social networks. Simply add a comma before the and, and make that A lowercase.
    • iPhone should be written with a lowercase i and a capital P. It's backwards on the about page.
    • Under Scorekeeping, "let's" has no apostrophe.
    • Again, "So your customers can focus on hitting their next shot." is a fragment. Lowercase the S and use a comma instead.
    • You have no good meta data in your HTML code.
If you can't get a customer to write a testimonial for you, you could always make one up. I'm pretty sure most companies do anyway. :p

Edit: Again on the pricing page, unless I run in compatibility mode, the tables don't line up.

I would add meta tags to the top of all the pages in the head tag. They would look like this:
<meta name="title" content="insert the title that will appear on the top of the browser here">

<meta name="description" content="a brief description of the site, which will show up in search engines">

    <meta name="keywords" content="add your main keywords here">

    Code (markup):

Thanks for the pointers aidan. Especially the language part..I can be pretty picky in swedish, so figure how these things you pointed out might stick in the eyes of a native speaker.

Boring page - what would you do here? Visual appeal isn't my core competence. Where would you go to make this page really attractive and how much would you figure to spend?

And yeah, making a proposal up might save some time=)

I would add things to the top right corner. I'm not sure exactly what, perhaps a banner or other buttons.
From what I can see, the page is about something to do with golf, and the entire site is done in four shades of white! When I think of golf, I think of luscious green and flags. Change up the colors :).
