Nothing seems to be lining up on it - top header is wider than header below, and below that is wider again. Border in content area (which I dont really like) sits outside of the main width of the site. I've had a quick glimpse of your code to see how it could be fixed up but its soooo busy in there that I just dont have the time sorry. It looks to me as though its not in a container, which is the reason for the different widths, but I could be wrong as like I say I havent checked it. I would probabably lose the header with the logo in it, make the top bar deeper and add the logo there. All that wasted space at the top means that the viewer has to scroll to read any content, so reducing that would definitely be beneficial.. IMO :)

You need a different font and the logo looks out of place

As typingmums mentioned you really need to check the alignment, it's all messed up

oh yes, the logo is 2px to small, well im goign to possibly remove the borders in the main section, maybe a 1px border, change the header (my lecturer wanted it big i was like "aaree you sssuree???" lol..) i will put the univerity logo into the top of the picture.. or possibly cut out the top and use the area to the right of logo as somewhere to put news items... that will decrease the space used at the top of the site..

let me get on with this, and carry on with the comments, needs to go public within a week!!! eek! :)
