Feedback on my Website : Snapsvilla

Hello friends...

I have a developed a small social networking website SNAPSVILLA (www.snapsvilla.com) whose main work is photo sharing. I want to know how it looks and how is it working.. Since this is my 2nd website, (1st with so high level of coding) so am sure there will be plenty of mistakes which I being a beginner cant see...

1 thing that is really bothering me is that it takes allot of time to upload a snap... Is there any way by which i can reduce that...

Please give your feedback... It will help me allot to learn from my mistakes as well as also built my confidence..

When errors breaks the design

I failed to create an account and semi logged me in (at the top had welcome timmy timmy)

would suggest for unlogged in pages don't show people: "You are not signed in... Please log in..." maybe add in a register box or hide links to pages they can't see unless logged in

You've got double & in your top 10 pictures link on your home page

Mark ups invalid.

Couple of others to check that I didn't - uploading a picture that isn't a picture, script and html bits you don't want

The Logo is looking blurred make it in higher resolution and clear.

 

don't display that big, big warning "You are not signed in ..." in your home page - the user already knows that.
Put some more content, or some website description on your home page - the users should know from the first sight what kind of website is it

As others have complained, the logo looks pixelated. You should add a description of your site on the front page for guests and users who're not logged in instead of showing a big red notice.

You definately need to get a professional banner made. The current one is very unattractive.

Also, consider changing the font to something a bit more professional.

Guys I have made some rectifications on my homepage for unsigned users, as suggested by most of you... Please tell me if its good.

 

try to change the background. it looks ordinary.
