Hello I'm new to promoting ClickBank products. I made a landing page from scratch. I havn't started promoting yet; it's more like a template/testing (but of course, the best way to actually see if it is a good landing page would be to try it in practice). Nevertheless, I want to hear from you what you think of it. Feel free to be harsh in your critique. I tried following a couple of points: Short text. Reason: the publisher site has more extensive information. Since I am going to have to send the user to the publisher's page eventually anyway, I want to aim at getting the customer off of my site quickly and onto the publisher site as fast as possible with the reader wanting so. Quality marking (the Softpedia certification). Reason: Give the user something that shows they're not using their time on bullshit. Provides an external source of certification for your product; a positive review - something that makes them feel they are sniffing on a good product. Noticeable "move on"-button. Reason: I don't want to make the users feeling lost. If they like what they are reading I want them to know where to get the product fast (this will also help me in getting them quickly off my page). I colored the button red intentionally, since it makes it stand more out there. The eyes of the reader will notice this bigger red spot on the screen and just have to look at it. I also placed it on the right bottom corner. Does anyone have any experience in button/clickhere placements? I figured placing it just to the right and a little down from the last sentence would be a good spot since when you read the last sentence, your eyes are already moving from the left to the right. Although I don't think placing it left or right makes all the difference in the world, since it's still the red spot on the page, I personally felt it was better having it to the right after experimenting myself for a bit. I also linked and bolded out the "grab a copy" in the first sentence in case they are so eager to get it they just want to click and move on to get the product. You can find it here: http://offers.bargx.com/videopiggy/ Thank you for your time!
Nice landing page. Well designed, and cool button. I also like how you've placed that softpedia button; clever. Maybe instead of putting the button right at the bottom, you should put it at the bottom of the box with the dashed border? But yeah, nice work. Planning to promote it via PPC or something?
Thanks! Hmm, what do you mean? I noticed the page shows alittle bit different between Internet Explorer and Firefox. In Firefox the red button is nearly at the dashed border (see attached button1.jpg) while in IE the red button is floating a good piece over the dashed border (see button2.jpg). I will look into this and see if I can fix it with some HTML/CSS editing. I havn't really made up my mind. Would it be best? Or should I write articles about ripping movies/music from YouTube and relaxing to YouTube material offline etc? Both? I have bearily experience with this. Thanks for answers
Nice start but do some more reading here, in older threads, to generate ideas and get you past the "I'm New" level. Don't let this be your only project nor focus on one marketing method such as PPC. I think after a week of reading you will see many more options because you seem to be looking for reassurance, which is fine, but you need confidence too which comes with knowledge. Branch out, keep reading and take action. Louis Best of Success P.S. You will likely not make your goals the first time out but keep pushing; you will get there if you focus on your customer's needs and desires.
