    Hey all-

    I run www.craftytraveler.com - a travel web site...

I decided to try to find out which travel destinations had high-dollar ads, and all I could find was some (relatively sleazy seeming) lists of keywords... Without even a search function...

Sooo, I created a search engine for high-dollar adsense/ypn keywords.

Anyhoo, someone suggested creating an affiliate program (so that other folks out there with sites/blogs about adsense and marketing could refer traffic for cash)... So I did.

Right now it's only semi-public (want to get feedback from folks like you, first).

    Here's how it works:

    1. You go to a page and enter in your URL and adsense ID #.
    2. Code is generated that you can place on your site. It's a mini-form with some decent visual design. Searching spawns a new window.
    3. Any Adsense ads displayed on the results page (or ANY subsequent page in the session) has a 50% chance of using the referrers adsense ID for the ad.

The info page is at http://www.iotaweb.org/affiliate.html
The signup and code generation page is at http://www.iotaweb.org/aff_signup.php

I'd love to get feedback from anyone-- especially folks who have Adsense Blogs/sites.

OH-- And (to answer the question), I have emailed Google and this is compliant with their ToS.

    Grins,

Don't want to burst your bubble, but DigitalPoint has an Adsense affiliate program.

Heh--- Yaw, didn't mean to intimate that I came up with the idea. I'm happy to stand on the shoulders of giants. Or at least, stand on the shoulders of relatively tall people.

It's a variant on the idea here-- so I figured it would be the safe route to ask Google if it was okay....

In fact, I reference Digital Point on my info page! <grin>

I digitally tip my hat to you sir!

    Hi Tony,
This looks like a creative mix of vertical search engine, affiliate concepts, and riding the Google/YPN adwords wave. Good for you. Hope it is worth it!

    Cheers,
    Peter
