well the forum looks ok, but you gonna have to try hard to gain some traffic on it, the competition is high, think of something unique you can offer you visitors
Theme is nice and clean, I like it! There does however seem to be a problem with your chatbox for unregistered users. I get an in-line frame of the forum again, instead of maybe a message telling me to login to see the chatbox, or just the chatbox contents. I've included a screenshot to show you what I mean. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/18/chatboxse.png/
I like the theme of the forum - like previously said, it is rather clean and functional. You will definitely have to proactively work (uphill) to generate the traffic to make it worthwhile (I'm assuming you want it to generate some kind of income, right?) One suggestion might be to add a Facebook registration option (Facebook connect, etc) - One less step for users to have to go through before they can submit their content, and, at least theoretically, the more content are likely to generate. Another idea to separate yourself from the other million link exchanges (but still not completely unique) might be to setup a code that site owners can place on their site that manages certain links automatically - perhaps integrated with the forum too somehow. Let me know if you need help with any of that - I recently set the Facebook stuff up on my own site - it is pretty easy to setup, the hardest part will be to integrate it with the user system your forum is using...but that probably isn't too hard! And with the other stuff, I'm just another geek that loves to code - and if you give me some nice links in exchange, I might be willing to do some heavy lifting for the exchange code Overall, good start!
It looks very clean. I like the color scheme. You need something on it to help me remember it better though.
not bad little plain though but like the ideah. Main thing is stick with it you will have ups and downs but traffic will come.
