    Hello all!

I am looking for some feedback on my new forum.
Currently, there are no members. (I would love some if you want to join :D *wishful thinking*)

The Forum is called "God's Love Forum" which is a Christian based forum that welcomes both Christians and non-Christians. The main focus is better understanding the Bible, Christianity, God, and His love. I want anyone to feel they can join and discuss topics on the forum. My goal is to have a friendly forum for people of any belief to join and discuss God, the Bible, or genuinely anything that is on their mind. I even welcome debates as long as they stay friendly.

Anyways here is the link --- > http://godsloveforum.com/
It is ran on Xenforo and is pretty new, so not much going on yet.

It looks nice enough. Very easy on the eyes, and well organized. A lot of people make the mistake of creating too many boards or categories to begin with, which simply serves to highlight the content problem that every new forum has. As people join in, other topics will suggest themselves. Until a few days ago, I had never heard of Xenforo but have now come across it in several forums.

You have a nice looking forum. Now comes the hard part. I don't know whether you have run a forum before so please excuse me if I am saying things that you already know. Starting a new forum can be very frustrating because very few people will post in an empty forum, yet every new forum is going to be empty in the beginning. Most new forums don't last beyond a year because forum administrators grow discouraged.

I create a few extra accounts for myself and use them to try to get conversations going so as to disguise the fact that it's just me talking to myself. I've even been known to start arguments with myself; of course, that's not the sort of thing that you want in a Christian forum so you'd probably end up banning yourself, and that might defeat the purpose entirely. If you do ban yourself however, take care not to ban the ISP because that could present a problem.

I am a Christian. I will create an account, but I can't promise that I'll be able to contribute much for a few days since I am sort of buried deep in stuff here.

If you get 20-30 Christians from different denominations all your debates will turn into a mess.

I don't like Christian forums, stopped visiting them a long time ago. On any Christian forum there's always one or two Bible thumpers who will argue with you till they foam at their mouths as long as they can prove that they are right and you are wrong.

Overall Christian discussion boards provide nothing but a confusion to the rest of the world regarding Christianity, the role of Christ, etc. We can't get Baptists and Pentecostals agree on anything when it comes to the local churches and congregations, how in the world will they (and anyone else) agree on anything on a forum? Impossible.

Thank you, I appreciate the feed back and for joining. :)
I have considered having conversations with myself... I have done it before on forums to content building. :D

I get what you are saying but I focus on LOVE not religion. I don't aim to get people confused or have people start arguments. I know that a great number have failed in the past, but I am not worried about that. I have faith in it. :)

Also, I don't attend church for the same reasons you speak of. I have been judged the worst in Christian churches, which is ironic. So trust me, I know what you mean. Thanks for your comments.

Well, all I can say is good luck with that. If all we needed was love, we wouldn't have 217 denominations in the US alone. 217! You should understand that as long as we live in the flesh we will have our fleshly wishes and desires warring against any common sense or even love.

Condensed a few sections and made it a little cleaner.
