Feedback for very basic, first website

I began learning html/css a couple of months ago and designed this website for my wedding as practice. I would appreciate any feedback.

I still have some work to do, like making the jumboTron more visually interesting, and actually writing real content for some of the sections.

    Thanks!

I'm getting the sense this forum is not for posts such as mine.

As you said you still have some work to do. I am not sure what you are looking for. The codepen redering looks like something from someone very little experience. That is not even a web site, just spot to play with fragments of code. If you actually have a web page you should post a link to it and you might find there is more interest in advising you. However be warned there are several of use who don't pull any punches and you need a thick skin if you are going to do web pages.

If you use the right category, maybe it is. Look in the listing, and find (at the bottom) the subgroup "The Digital Point" -> find Reviews -> find Websites. However, before posting there, you should have an actual website - a Codepen-rendering is cumbersome and hopeless to work with properly - it's much easier to review the complete code on an actual webpage - and as @COBOLdinosaur said - even if you're brand spanking new to the game, the rules still apply, and we don't give much leeway for noobs.

This is a great start! You should add a padding to the text because it wraps around the pictures very closely.

You could define the <p> tag for it and just add a padding of like 2px. also you should watch out when using position:absolute; because when you get more advanced it will mess up when people go to your site on a mobile phone or with a small screen
