hello, www.hospital911.org is my new site..the content is unique! ive put some google ads,are they good? and what can i do for more traffic? ive added sitemap to google/webmasters,going to submit to some pr blogs..and what else can i do? thx!
Submit your website to all possible web directories, here's a list of some of them - http://info.vilesilencer.com/ and wait for some organic traffic. That's what I do, but it'll take some time.
I think the ad placement is very good, get some good traffic and you could be getting some good money from the ads.
I would try to write as much of your own content as possible, and as frequently as possible. Make sure that you are submitting your blog to as many blog directories as possible, and commenting on highly visible blogs within your niche. I'd also utilize trackbacks with popular blogs in your niche because blog authors like to see where their work was referenced. Also, I would try to make your site a little more visual in nature. To me, it's about creating a total experience that will bring visitors to your site. If they don't like what they see when they get there, they won't recommend it to others or link to it. Just my two cents.
Not too bad. You should test a few color schemes for a week or so and see what's the best for your site. I think your CTR will be higher using blue links. Also pay attention with those images. Some of them are way too close to the AdSense ads.
I agree that the ad placement is really good. Your site looks pretty good too. Once you start getting some more traffic, you should definitely start making some good money from those ads. I'm not too familiar with Google's policies on traffic exchanges, but if you really need some traffic you can try one out just to get a little traffic going.
Since your web site is new you should build your backlinks slowly, you can build backlinks through article distributions, blog postings, directory submissions, and press releases. This will help you to improve your organic traffic.
Submit your site to a few social bookmarking, write 1 or 2 articles about the topic and submit this articles to ezine and isnare This will help....
Watch out, you're using images next to adsense, right now this is against TOS, was accepted a few months ago but not anymore "Bronchiolitis: Recommendations for parents"
the blog looks good, the adsense is well blended, possible too well blended, try it out for a while and see how your ctr is, if you are getting good steady traffic and low ctr then maybe try a different link color on the adsense. but as you said the traffic is not flowing so it is hard to tell. As for traffic, post good comments on relevant blogs, get active in social networking and most of all be patient, traffic wont come over night.
I would say for traffic build backlinks to your site. For the adsense I think it is too intrusive to the posts and needs to be de-emphasized.
You may not have this option if you absolutely need what little income Adsense generates for you right now, but I typically tell people not to put that many obtrusive ads on a page while they are in their initial growth phase. It's better -in my humble opinion- to build quality content and trust with your visitors to make them want to come back and tell others --rather than earn a few pennies and never see them again. Your content looks like it is coming along nicely and your theme is ok. Keep up the good work! Brandon
