I am not sure if this is the correct forum for this post. If not, then Mods please move to the correct forum. My friend's company recently joined a travel affiliate program. And my friend with no web development or programming skills tried to build the website around the feed from this program. However, when he built it he had to do it with frames because the feed is a html page (a href) into his website. And he wanted to have his own logo, left navigation, footer and so on around the content from the affiliate program. I would prefer not to provide the URL at this time because I do not want to make him or his company look bad. It is a very small and new company. I just want to try to help him out as he isn't a web developer and he just did it this way so his company had something to use (specifically for their concierge people at a few hotels). if necessary to answer the question, please PM me and I will provide the URL. What options does he have to set it up without frames?
Have you looked at IAN.com? They are the data source for sites like Hotels.com and they provide a full-featured affiliate program. You can either use their datafeed and build your own site or you can upload a few HTML files and IAN will build the site around your header, sidebar, and footer.
I should have mentioned this earlier but I am just looking for suggestions and not anyone to do the work. They did a lot of research and there was a number of reasons why they went with that companys' affiliate program.
