    Has anyone used them?

I have to be honest I've never advertised a site before... but I'd like to piggy back an upcoming site launch with a decent advertising campaign.
They have higher CPM rates (on one site I am thinking of advertising on, the CPM is $18), but they also are on some very big niche authority sites that target grate to my site.

I'd love to hear thoughts on them and maybe some alternatives.

    Thanks guys!

Federateds been in the game for a while.

You could probably get lower CPM with Google Site Placement via Adwords

Yeah, I know they've been around for quite some time. I'm just a little weary of making the jump into advertising (not products mind you, just helping to create a buzz) curious if they are a good route to go.

The huge bucks you spend at FM could be better spent creating buzz through social networking or forums.

Wish I could give you the answer that you want but thats impossible as I am sure you know.

Try running a PPC campaign for branding purposes.....basically write ads so nobody will click them and garner 10,000,000,000 impressions free of charge

    :D
