    The current prices are:

$39.90 for a top level category (e.g. Web directory - Travel)
    $29.90 for a 2nd second level (e.g. Web directory - Travel - Accommodations)
    $19.90 for a third level (e.g. Web directory - Travel - Accommodations - Asia)
    $9.90 for a 4th level (e.g. Web directory - Travel - Accommodations - Asia - Thailand).

    The new prices will be:

$69.90 for a top level category (e.g. Web directory - Travel)
    $35.90 for a 2nd second level (e.g. Web directory - Travel - Accommodations)
    $18.90 for a third level (e.g. Web directory - Travel - Accommodations - Asia)
    $9.90 for a 4th level (e.g. Web directory - Travel - Accommodations - Asia - Thailand).

Jim, as I like your directory I find your prizes a bit high. Why are you increasing the prizes? Is there a way at the detail page to set it to a full description of the listing? And there seems to be a duplicate thing in google with your website, when using the site: command I get two results out of 11.600.

Yes, I noticed that Google has indexed over 11,000 pages of my site and I can't explain it.

I can explain the price increases. The pricing hierarchy is set up so that eople getting listed on deeper pages get the same value as people getting listed in top level categories. However that's not ahppening.

As a result, too many people are asking me questions like "Can my site about tourist attractions in Athens go in the top level travel category?" The reason so many people ask is because the top level categories are a better deal than the deep pages.

So, the new prices should help me fix the problem that some webmasters running general sites get better deals than others running niche sites.

Regarding description pages, I may remove them altogether. Otherwise I may set them up for longer descriptions or set them up so they can contain deep links to the listed site. I'm still weighing my options here. Obviously they benefit top level listings more than deeper listings at the moment.
