Basically what i need is a plugin for my music site were i can display on my sidebar the latest posts from REVIEWS, so i can for example post the last album reviews. The tricky part is that i want to have thumbnail of the album cover for example, and maybe a description. I could do the same for a Latest news section. If you don't quite fallow what i'm trying to say look at http://www.engadget.com and look to the left: breaking stories and features. If anyone can guide me to such a plugin i would be extremely grateful. Thanks in advance. PS: my blog is http://zmemusic.com
I kind of follow what you mean, take a look at my blog, (The album covers in the side bar) and tell me is that what you mean. (www.124bpms.com) If so, it's just a matter of a message board underneath the graphic, right?
Hhhmmn. On the right there is a countdown to a new release that is an album cover. After the chart info there is a rotating plug in of releases on iTunes that is all CD covers. "Now on iTunes". If you go to this page, there is slide show of all album covers. You don't see any of that? By the way, those "Mass rss feeds", are all affiliate links for downloads of those tracks. The whole point of having a music blog.
I see, that's not really what i'm looking for. I'm looking for something that displays lets say.. the last 5 album review witha thumbnail and a title. Thanks anyway, waiting replies.
Well, I know of a few ways that you can do that. Are the reviews coming from you blog, say from the comments section, or do you want a place that others can leave reviews under the image?
The reviews are posts from my blog. I just want the titles of the posts to keep it simple, and a thumbnail of the album cover next to it.
You could run your own RSS feed underneath the graphic, but that would only take posts in succession. OR you could scamper over to Widget Galley, or Spring Widgets, and I am sure that they have something like that. If not look for "My Space" widgets and such. I have seen that before on those type of sites, I just can't place where. Hope that helps.
