India’s Federation of Corrugated Board Manufacturers (FCBM) will continue is staunch support of the SinoCorrugated series of events by arranging for delegations to travel to the jointly held SinoFoldingCarton 2010 and SinoCorrugated 2010 in Dongguan, China, this Spring. The organizers of these two industry-leading events, Reed Exhibitions, attended the FCBM’s 38th conference in Kolkata, India, from December 18 to December 20, last year. The conference saw the gathering of nearly 500 figures from the Indian corrugated industry and Reed Exhibitions was able to promote SinoFoldingCarton 2010 and SinoCorrugated 2010 to each of them. A Reed representative was on hand to give a brief speech outlining the benefits of the upcoming shows and expressing a hope that there would be a strong Indian contingent from the FCBM to bolster cooperation between the two countries. Following the speech, as many as half of the conference delegates inquired after further exhibition details and expressed a strong interest in visiting the shows, in particular with a view to purchasing Chinese machinery. Mr. R.G. Agarwala, President of the FCBM, reiterated that the federation had a long-established tradition of organizing delegations of its members to attend SinoCorrugated events. The results of such visits had invariably proved favorable as the Chinese equipment bought by Indian corrugated box manufacturers proved to be of exceptional quality. Mr. Argawala confirmed that the FCBM would continue to support SinoCorrugated 2010 and arrange for delegations of its members to visit both SinoCorrugated 2010 and SinoFoldingCarton 2010 from April 7 to April 9, 2010.
