http://edition.cnn.com/2008/US/01/27/saddam.cbs/index.html Does that change your perspective any? It *would* explain some things. Clears some names IMO.
I assume you're talking about Saddam. Yes. he did do a good job of it. And as we can see, he was obviously restarting his WMD program. I still support the cause.
No I meant Saddam, David Kay the weapons inspector for the U.S in charge of finding WMD's in Iraq while didn't find any wmd. Did find tons of equipment that Saddam should of never of had after 91.
Clears whose names? What about the 1 million Iraqis killed under the Food for Oil sanctions? The 1/2 million children? Does this clear those names? Gimme a break. chulium, do you know what the "secret combinations" are?
like tinfoil hats right? u bad lil' boy saddam i better not catch you with those hats again!! you see we're allowed to have our hats but you can't have them saddam!! only us fat, happy, uneducated Americans can have the hats. we own the hats. the ones that tell us war is good and bad lil boys like saddam are out to get us with their hats.
This information has been around for a long time; I'm not sure why CNN waited until last week to report this. I think it's important that people know this information in order to put the start of the Iraq conflict into perspective. Yes, Saddam Hussein was acting very shady around U.N. inspectors and he played games with them pretty much from 1991 until the start of the current conflict. He was not, however, doing this to make the United States angry. He wanted Iran to think he had WMDs, because he really did fear an invasion from his Persian neighbor. I wonder how many of my fellow Americans even realize that Iraq and Iran were not friendly nations, united by their hatred of the United States. Heck, I wonder how many of my fellow Americans could even locate both countries on a globe.
