Fb marketing through News/Most Recent Feed discussion (highly potential)

    When we logged into fb, the very first thing we can see is our friends update.
    Among them, almost 50% of the feed news are friends update on fb app.

    I strongly believe that if our marketing strategy goes right and show relevant news in this board, we can make HUGE money!!

    Before the exist of http://twitter.com, people share funny url to their frieds by posting them one by one through IM.
    And i have a fb forum app, once member post into my forum, it will boardcast to their friends.

    I am trying my best to post funny videos, flash games, but the CTR is still very low. It hardly get return member.

    Question:
    - How come such a great feature doesn't attract return member?
    - How can forum get more reply in my forum app? Found that in famous forum, even a silly topic can get great respond.

    Hope you guys can share some opinion

    there are a lot of updates in FB that simply get ignored unless its something personal. maybe thats not so good idea after all

    I realized that some of my friends share nice video, and after few hours, it gone due to the update push down the vid

    I tried to provide some better enhancement from the feed update
    - nice clips share from my app can push to their friends (you will never need to copy & paste the url to your IM to send to friend but reply/post the topic)
    - boardcast if you got a valuable info (eg. "I got a job for you") and all your friend will receive from the fb feed, if they reply "wht kinda job" and reply person's friend will get an update as well), then it benefit the topic creator and get maximum expose if his topic is useful enough.

    From pt1, i can say my forum app can host nice clip/games (most forum serve for this purpose) and help people sharing great resource among internet through simpler process (not every forum is doing)

    Pt 2, it helps topic creator to look for what they need (better than spreading mouth-to-mouth), all sharing among the friend network and help them to understand each other better

    Need some marketing gurus to tell me, am i going for the right direction for my app?
