    Diaspora and Dolphin are two web applications that can be similar to FB for you, but Diaspora is in development and they have not released an official version yet. I've played with some of the betas and it's interesting however if you're inexperienced as a system administrator, you will mess up installing Diaspora or you will waste your time trying to install it on shared hosting
