I apologize in advance if this topic has been already covered and answered. if it has I Have not found a satisfactory answer yet. That could be because of a brain freeze, but at this point I am afraid I am not seeing the forest for the trees and I would appreciate it someone could provide a simple, straightforward answer to my question. My issue is that no matter what I do I seem to be unable to connect a given website with its relative business page, as opposed to the FB account own profile page. Practical example #1: I want to insert a "Like" button into "domain.com" On Facebook the only option I Have is to create the like widget relative to the default profile of the FB account. I can't see a way to connect it directly to a business page created by the account owner. When creating the widget (any widget for that matter) I am asked to provide some info but it's all related to the profile, not any of the multiple business pages the account holder can create on their account. It seems to me FB would give you some way to point to any of the business pages created in a given account, but I can't see a way to do that. Example #2: I want to display every content Item from my site on the business page "wall". Once again, I don't see a way to have it display in a business page. Since FB let you create multiple business pages shouldn't we have a multiple choice field where we can pick which "page" to display the content in? Or, at least, shouldn't we be able to insert an ID number of sort in our widget? In fact, by going to an account main (personal) page, one has no idea of what business pages are associated with it. Even as a FB administrator, I Have to use a link buried in the menu to access the business page(s) relative to my account. This makes no sense to me. Even assuming that all I can do is associate my "like" button to my personal profile, if a user decides to visit my FB page, he or she won;t see even a tiny mention of my business pages unless I insert that link myself (and at that I am yet to find a suitable place where that information would be evident. Either I am missing something big here, or this whole thing has not been thought out properly. I Have built a couple of widgets that needed my FB ID in order to work. That ID was nowhere to be found, until, after much research, I discovered that I Have to get my own FB ID from the profile picture filename, where the last few digits are my User ID. However,m doing the same thing for the business page doesn't seem to work. At least all I get is an error. Now, if I were Mr. Facebook, this is how I would design this feature: 1) Each business page gets front billing on the personal profile page. Possibly with A layout element that can be moved by the user any place they like on the page. 2) Each Biz page can also be targeted individually and independently (and easily) through the API. So that by virtue of a simple ID I can choose to display my RSS feed on page A, my content on Page B and I can choose to have each business or group page have its own "like" button. Naturally, I could be completely off base here and all this is already possible (as it seems to be judging by other implementations I Have seen. However, instructions on how to do it and what the various relationships interact, are far from clear and every single post like mine I Have seen so far either got no responses or the answers were vague and lacked any specific instructions. Often referring to 404 pages or resources that had nothing to do with it. Since FB is clearly trying to generate a reliable revenue stream, one would think that charging even a nominal fee for a basic business page would be a great way to generate income. What business wouldn't pay $5 to $10 a month for their business page to be easily reached from elsewhere in their online presence? Please, if I missed something important go easy on me. I Have had a very hard childhood. If you do know how to do all this and feel like posting it here, thank you. Please try to explain it as simply as possible without assuming any prior knowledge of any of the facebook features. By the way, I do know that some have changed their own name in the FB profile and used that as their company page. It seems to be the most obvious process to eliminate this problem and I Have ddone it myself, but FB frowns on it and it seems absurd FB provides such a useful feature only to make it obscure how to leverage it. Thank you kindly
