Sweet Jesus! So much ad spam, there is a blog in there? Really very unappealing, do yourself (and everyone else) a favor and go a little easy on block after block of big ads, nobody is going to scan through that to search for a tidbit of useful information. Focus on content not advertising.
lol..... You two half hardly any posts. Content is content, if you look at half of it. Its not advertising, its offers using keywords. as i said, constructive advice. Not negative, " OH TOO MUCH ADS ". in my own opinion, there isn't enough advertising.
The thing that annoys me the most is not your ads or your lack of content, its the attitude towards the people who offered you advice, and god advice at that. Now I am going to give you some. You dont have a blog at all, what you have is a collection of random posts about random subjects. I have no idea what your blog is about or its target audience. This doesn't mean you cant write about many topics (i do) but you have no niche t slot in, for instance i write on many topics in the mens lifestyle niche. Secondly, if you are going to use a free theme I suggest spicing it up, spend some time learning css and create an eye catching logo with a nice slogan, design the blog template to make it as unique as you can. Thirdly, I think you have an issue with content. You posts are very sporadic and inconsistent, try to post at least once a day, if you cant then make a shcedule to post on particular days of the week and stick to it, that way readers know when to come back for your next post. I also noticed some of your posts are really long winded, especially the top 10 band foods, nice idea but way too long, If you to make it as a blogger you are going to have to take many knock backs, much worse than the advice these guys have given you, trust me I get abuse from people all the time, but as a blogger I take it on the chin and learn from it. Stop rejecting peoples help, they did nothing wrong, the people on here are experienced webmasters who know what there talking about. And yes your blog does have too many ads!!
Well FavorotesBlog, lets assume that your absolutely right about my "newbieness" based on my low post count. Lets pretend that I am "Joe six pack everybody" and that I just fell off a turnip truck and vagrantly wandered into a house with a computer for the very first time. Let's say that I know nothing about computers and internet marketing (which is somewhat true...) and looked at your site for the first time. Do you know what my first impression would be? WOW! Too many ads! Now is that the initial perception you want people to have? -sgt
