Although it's more than a console, my vote goes to the Commodore VIC-20. With the Atari 2600 in a close second place. As a teenager, my favourite console was the SNES.
I did not have any sega or atari game consoles during my childhood. I loved games and I played the ones in video games parlors. I don't know the name of the consoles but they were huge. The first one which I owned was a small chinese console which went by the name Terminator. I used to play a lot of mario in it.
Blaster Master hands down I still play the ROM now and again right to the end of the game. Opps thought question was fave retro game. Well first console i owned was dreamcast. So i guess that =P
Duck Hunt with the old-style gun was unique. Now you have all those motion-sensoring things, yeah, but back in the 80's you could hit your television and the duck would fall. And then the dog would laugh.. Terrific!
Oh yer! Duck Hunt! That was a pretty cool game, wasn't there a Clay Pigeon shooting option on that game as well?
Yeah. Game A = 1 duck at a time, Game B = 2 ducks at a time, Game C = Clay targets. I've been playing it all afternoon. It's awesome. I'll have to get Hogan's Alley next.
Started with a Spectrum ZX, then a NES, then a SNES. Loved my SNES!! Anyone remember drooling over the NEO GEO? $200 a game anyone!?
