    My childhood was basicaly loveless.My adopted parents and my 2 stepbrothers were quite cold.I never remember ever receiving a hug from any of them.To compensate I used to hug this old ratty one eyed teddy bear.I used to imagine as a small girl that this inanimate object loved me.So the teddy bear was a source of comfort to me and was easily my favorite toy.I had it up to the age of 8 until one of my stepbrothers tore it apart.

    Oh how fun! I only have a couple of pieces left of my childhood toy tea set but they are sweet to have. A friend even helped me turn one piece, the sugar bowl, into an adorable pin cushion. Sweet family memories! :)
