Windows 3.1 was my favorite I think of all time. Just because of the advances it made. I still have the copies of Windows 3 as well. It was my first OS that I used with the GUIs and not a DOS prompt. And now I compare that to Vista - which is 3.5G. Bigger does not really mean better
My favorite is by far xp. I was thinking that vista will be better but when I did my research xp still top the editor and consumer ratings.
XP crashes far less often than any other Windows systems I've used (and those include 3.1, 95, 98SE, NT, ME, and 2000). Though it has a lot of useless graphic eye candy it functions. It sounds like Vista has even more useless eye candy. Show for the sake of show. I have no plans to upgrade until forced to.
Forgive me for having to point this out...but Windows 3.1 was not an "operating system." It was an "operating environment" that ran on top of good old MS-DOS. So was Windows for Workgroups. Forgive me for being so picky...one of my personal weaknesses....
I have used Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows ME, Windows XP Professional Edition & Windows XP Home Edition. The best among all of them is Windows XP Professional Edition (SP2).. It's very user friendly and very stable unlike the older versions.
Hi, I'm now using Windows XP which is never struck in my past 10 month experience, before 6 month back I was using windows 98 which is always interrubt my work daily I restart my work..But after XP my system never need to restart..So I like XP than other microsft windows operatins system product...
Windows 98 SE was a great, but W98 have some troubles with modern hardware, that is why win2000 at now days
I love just about everything about 98se,the design,etc......... If i only had MORE RAM and maybe a FASTER CPU also,i would have the ultimate computer Just Imagine 98se on 512M+ of ram and 3000Mhz CPU
I like XP as well, but Longhorn? Is that even a OS? I thought that was something else... not an OS....
