98lite was my favourite back in the olden days. But I use XP now, more because I 'have to' than because I like it.

yeah i agree. im using xp because softwares, programs and games are designed and tested to run perfectly in xp. but surely that would change anytime soon because of vista. when programs wont support xp anymore then you have no choice but to use vista.

Mac OS-X since Windows has emulated it since XP. *JOKE*

My first computer was running Windows 3.1 --- I miss it... the computer actually did what it was supposed to with that whopping 486DX and 16mb of RAM. I never had 95. 98 crashed atleast once or twice a day. M.E. was a joke... but XP was a beauty. Sure, its got problems now.. but it was a big step forward for Microsoft.

So... Windows 3.1 and XP Service Pack 2. I would have chosen DOS had that been a choice =)

I only use XP (media edition) due to the fact it still receives updates.. lol
which makes it the only 'secure' if such a term could exist to a version of windows

We run Windows 2000 on nearly all of our machines here (the most recent laptop runs XP).

I like the fact that, even though all of our licenses are legal, I don't have to call/connect to MS just to install my freaking operating system.

My personal feeling, though, is that Vista will do more for Linux than any other operating system ever has ;)
