Alright, I've taken on a side job as a bartender, and I've been getting all of these weird requests for shots and drinks. I need to expand my collection of what drinks I can make. What is your favorite drink, and how do you make it?

I'm just adding to my new site. Not yet submitted to SE's (probably will be after I post link here ) but you are welcome to add some drinks. http://www.thinkdrinks.com/
Awesome! I love bartenders. Anyways, I get these a lot (college student): -Bacardi and Cola -Long Island Iced Tea -Vodka on the rocks I hate screwdrivers, though. I'd rather just have Vodka. I've had bartenders take the soda out of the Long Island, as well.
I drink beer or rum and coke. My wife and her friends always get "buttery nipples" some kind of baileys shot.
PlanetAndrea did you read the current issue of "Fast Company" Top bartender are making big money nowaday
Irish Car Bomb Half of a glass of Guinness shot: 1/2 bailey's irish cream, 1/2 irish whiskey Drop the shot in the Guinness and slam it.
Oprah's favorite is very tasty 1 oz vodka 1/2 oz Cointreau orange liqueur 3 oz pomegranate juice Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker 1/4 filled with chopped ice. Shake and strain into a cocktail glass. Serve with a squeeze of lemon.
I'm bartending at a local radio station party friday night and my boss told me to expect around $300-400 tips that night, my bank must think i'm a stripper with all the $1's hahah I've learned so much already, plus its a blast! I make crap per hour but the tip money pays the billz.
Okay, I have something to confess. When I started going out to bars after my 21st birthday (I'm a good boy!), I had no idea that you were supposed to tip bartenders. My ex had even been a bartender, and I never put two and two together: that you should order drinks AND tip at the same time. Still, I don't see any reason to start now. Tell me why I should.
