I am a bit fascinated with one hit wonders, those bands that rise, have one big hit record and fade to oblivion and end up playing at county fairs or casinos. It seems like more were created when MTV was actually Music TV (not a network with shows having stupid kids doing stupid things under the influence of something). Any ways, a couple of my favorites are Big Country who had a great song called Big Country from an album called Big Country. Another one I just heard again was Lou Bega's Mambo Number 5. Who are your favorites of all time?
Big country. Here in my Car do not know name of person who sang it. Wild horses and not sure if one hit wonder but I will stop the world and melt with you. Other ones could be 99 red ballons and simple minds don't you forget about me. Fanky goes to hollywoood relax don't do it. Forgot the biggest one hit wonder played at all sports games. English guy who had problems with the law. Wild horses could not carry me away not rolling stones wild horses.

In A Big Country by Big Country is also one of my favorites. Here In My Car by Gary Numan is a great song, but he had another song that I like better than was not a hit. The name of that song is Down In The Park and it has since been covered by Marilyn Manson and Foo Fighters. I assume the Wild Horses you're thinking of is the song by The Rolling Stones. Definitely not one-hit wonders. My favorite one-hit wonder song is A Whiter Shade of Pale by Procol Harum.
Mine is play that funky music by Wild Cherry. I've played it loads of times in different bands and never grow tired of it's funkiness Brew
