I use WordPress. I tried drupal but WP seemed a little easier and more natural to me. I could see the case for both though.
What about the new version 2.0 don't you like? Can your blog be hacked easily if you don't upgrade to 2.0?
Jumping in late on this thread. I have been reading but not posting. WP clumps all the posts by multiple bloggers into one pot or group of categories. It does not offer the option display to all posts by one contributor on a single page. Or if it does I have I not found it. By default Drupal will show all post by a blogger with no tweaking. Point two it seems to be much simpler to add items other than articles to the menu. This nice when you want more content than just articles or blogs on a single site. In my case I am reworking an older site and some of the old content and scripts are worth keeping.
Drupal is without a doubt, the worst bit of Publishing software I've ever had the misfortune to work with... Absolute crap. Wordpress is OK, but it's still not perfect... There are lots of things I'd like it to do that's it's not capable of.
Maybe you have seen or experienced something I have not. Please take the time to share with us why you make the statement above. I sincerely would appreciate it before I get too deep into this project.
I believe that Wordpress 2.0 has made some impovements in this area. Have you tried the latest version of Wordpress or are your comments about version 1.5?
