Rottweilers. They are so strong and smart. Males can be stubborn sometimes, but they are completely devoted.

I would have to add the "Norwegian Elkhound)

Marvelously intelligent and good protectors. Also, the seem to live healthy for a long time!

Border Collie, which isn't in the last. I have a Border Collie / Golden Retriever cross and she is an amazing animal. She's perfect for my 3 year old, is quite intelligent and has learned a lot of commands, and has never once growled at somebody. I love her to pieces :)

You should include "Other" as an option in the vote, as you didn't account for x-breeds like mine :)

Out of those choices, I have to go with a lab, as I have one already. Where is the choice for the beagle? lol.

It really surprises me that I'm the only person who voted for pitbulls.
I agree that labs are really sweet too.

For those of you that still believe everything the media claims:
    http://youtube.com/watch?v=dCSh8f8V66g

Pitbulls are nowhere near evil, you can turn any dog bad because all they want to do is please their owner.
If you put pitbulls in normal families who don't want them for their image or strength you'll have the most loving and best friend imaginable. I know I'm going a little off-topic but I think its important for everyone to know how amazing they are and what they're missing out on by misjudging these amazing dogs. :)

So far I've never been bitten by pitbulls or any of the other dogs with bad images, it are always the little jack russels and chihauha's that you have to look out for, but people tend to ignore that because they look more innocent.
