    Bugs bunny and friends (especially the RoadRunner and Wile E. Coyote). Perhaps my personal favorite was Marvin the Martian

    Pinkie and the Brain (Narf!)

    stuff that stands the test of time. My niece and nephew (1/2 my age) adore it as well. Whereas 9/10ths of the stuff created during their lifetime blows...like most of it might have appealed to them at the time but now they'd find it laughable that they ever liked it in the first place!

    I think most of it created in their lifetimes "blows" because it is not designed (well most of it anyway) as entertainment anymore...it is designed as a marketting tool to sell (usually lame) toys or other things.
