    Hello

    I was a favicon in my site:

    <link rel="icon"
    type="image/png"
    href="http://www.mydomain.com/favicon.png">

    And is working great for firefox but not in Explorer :(

    Any ideas?

    Even though MSFT invented the favicon, IE has had the poorest support. Instead of using a .png file, use a true .ico image. There are several apps that will make the conversion for you. Simply renaming the file may or may not work. Also, IE has a history of poor support for .png images. Be sure to force your browser to reload, as it may have decided there's no favicon, and refuses to look.

    cheers,

    Ye IE isn't the best when it comes to favicons.

    I did one recently for a clients site and whilst it showed up immediately in FF, it took a week before it showed up in IE, normally forcing a reload works but no matter how many times I tried it didn't show in this instance, then after a week boom it was there.

    PS Maybe you can post your url so we can take a look?

    always use the .ico format and you won't find yourself with any problems. ;)
