Favicon Issue - Need Suggestions

Favicon is not getting updated in the Google Search despite of the fact that I have updated it in the back-end numerous times. Can anybody suggest?

 

Did you clear the browser cookies / history?

Has google re-indexed your page after you the change?

 

How long did you give Google before you checked the SERPs?

To submit a URL to the index:

1. Follow the general guidelines.
2. Inspect the URL using the URL Inspection tool.
3. Select Request indexing. The tool will run a live test on the URL to see whether it has any obvious indexing issues, and if not, the page will be queued for indexing. If the tool finds issues with the page, try to fix them.

 

You need to re-index the homepage and clear the browser cache and history.
