Father sells his son's xmas present on ebay after catching him smoking pot

Here is the auction. Although It is finished now and my guess is that the person didn't pay for it (as it was almost $10,000) and just did it so the kid would get the present anyway.

It's a good read if your looking for a laugh.

I think the father did the right thing. If I were older and had a son i'd do worse than that...:D

Poor kid :D But I guess that's the father's way of discipling his son.

I don't pity the kid, I pity the father, it is a good thing that he sold off the present

That's funny! I once saw a mom auctioning off the "box" of stuff her kids had left laying out and she was tired of telling them to pick it up. I think there was as nintendo game and lots of other goodies.

I hope the kid stops his drug use and becomes a good citizen so his dad can be proud of him.

I would do the same thing, gotta keep kids off of drugs, we should have random drug testing in school.

its complety made up, just to make the auction interesting because he is selling something thats doing well at christmas on ebay, he is trying to justify to himself ripping someone off with a 125 buck game for 10k. i used the exace same bogus stories when ripping people off with psp and xbox 360's when they went global on ebay. its just a sales ploy. anyone who has a bit of business sense will tell you that.

yeah, but I wonder if it was a valid bid you know! will he get paid?

there was a brother of a guy on here (DP) one time auctioning off a old crusty Seattle Supersonics toiletries bag, turned into a big deal, he was going to donate the $ to charity and the winning bidder was a deadbeat!!

ahh I found it, none other than the light master himself, Hulkster

Load of BS. As has already been pointed out it's a marketing scam with some hypes on Reddit and Digg. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if the ebay account was purchased right here on DP.
