    Obviously the guy needs mental treatment. Let the psychological expert evaluate him and with the report, then let the court decide on the next course of action.

    I can't comment much on this case. It is horrible and miserable. One thing for sure, a person in sound mental condition can never do that to a helpless angel. I pity both the father and the baby. It's hard... :(

    He should not be sent to prison rather he should be killed. He is not mentally ill, if he is mentally upset then why only everytime he hits other people, why not he hurted himself ever?

    In the civilized and democratic society, he should get the maximum possible punishment for committing that dastardly act and hope that the baby girl recovers and leads a normal life as she grows up...
