I'm certainly not a programmer, so I hope I'm in the right place. I just tried to log into my wordpress admin and this is what I got: Warning: require_once(admin-header.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/srpi/public_html/wp-admin/index.php on line 34 Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'admin-header.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/srpi/public_html/wp-admin/index.php on line 34 What does this mean and how do I fix it?! Any help you could give me would be most appreciated. Please advise me in simple terms...I really know very little. Thanks, Monique
You may want to try reuploading the contents of your wp-admin folder, and see if that solves the problem. Do you by chance have a backup of any customized files you might have? The simplest way to fix it would probably be to just do a fresh WP install. Send me your url and I'll see what I can figure out.
It means that admin-header.php was not found in public_html/wp-admin/ You seems to be using wordpress. Personally I don't know what's admin-header.php is for..but try to download the latest package of wordpress and see if admin-header.php is in the package? Maybe you forgot to upload that file to your server. - ads2help
HQ Content, unfortunately I don't have any back up at all. I just purchased this site. Everything was working fine after the transfer, but I was cleaning it up and doing so tweaking and I think I must've screwed something up. I bet I'll never make the mistake of changing things up before backing up again! Live and learn...
One more thing, I noticed that the site comes up, but without any of the changes that I saved and without images in the slides. Hmmm...
Okay, I figured it out! Downloaded WP again, unzipped, got the file I needed and uploaded to my server. Thanks for the help, you guys!
