Fastest way to Watermark photos... Prefferably in Photoshop...

Hello. I get sets of pics that I have to watermark with a logo. I resize the pics, then I make website thumbnails, then I throw on the watermark(logo) on the bottom right corners of EVERY pic. I get maybe average 100-200 or maybe more pics. And it is an absolute pain to do this individually... Well the resizing I do with a Batch(Automate) cin Photoshop(CS4)... But I need to find a way to Watermark it much faster.... HELP!!

hey there haha i kno your pain so I devised a nice little method.

    1. Open a new page that is closely related in size to what you are working with, type in your watermark @ the positions you want.
    2. No need to save it, all you have to do is go to edit/define as pattern and save it as a pattern.
    3. Go to your "other" page and than click edit/fill pattern and boom.

You can try to use VideoCharge Studio. This soft work with video, but can processing image as well.

Soft very easy to use, support batch. For example, you can set folder and processing all files inside, or easy add all files and applay watermark to all added files. Try.

Read about Photoshop actions - they can do it automatically, open, resize, create a thumbnail, add watermark and close with 1 simple click, then You only provide the folder with pictures and Photoshop makes the rest pretty easy and quick :)

    Hi

The simplest way to create watermark on number of images at one shot.

Just create the action and save it by name and run by batch.

Action means creating the method of creating watermark to image... while doing it record ...

    +1 for using Photoshop actions.

You can even use Photoshop actions to right/bottom align your watermark, and then shift it back 10 pixels from the edge (or whatever).

Try Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3! If you are not so picky you can make your watermarks with available font at Lightroom or if you wish to put your on design watermarks you can too just make sure you save it in png. It's a good option.

This may not be the way others do it...but this is the way I do it:

Type out text such as "Sample" or something similar directly over the image.

I would type the text using the "Impact" font style in Black... I would then reduce the opacity to about 30-40% and then "Flatten" the whole thing.

If it's for MULTIPLE images then Batch Action Scripting is the way to go.

    Hope this helps. :D

I simply reduce the opacity of text or image to between 35-40%. Maybe Apply Gaussian blur and flatten.

Thanx for all your opinions. . . . I actually actively do this now, with creating an action in Photoshop... I created a PNG of my logo... I pressed the record, then placed the logo, moved it up and off the corner slightly, and then saved as.... Then I ran the Automate Batch, and it works very smoothly. Thanx everyone!
