What is the fastest way to check to see of a blog has dofollow comments? The way I am doing it now is I post a comment then check the source code to see if there is the nofollow tag. Thais is pretty time-consuming as it requires me to go through the time and trouble of posting a comment only to find out it's nofollow. I have heard of the Firefox plug-in is it very accurate? Does it tell me as soon as I go on the site if the site is nofollw or does the site need to have comments with links in the comment so I can check the links. I hope this makes sense. I would like to be able to go on a blog and be able to tell immediately if it is allowing dofollow or nofollow comments. Time is money in this industry. Thanks for your help.
Firefox is the fastest way. When you download the plugin you open the browser and rightclick the start page and click "no nofollow" or something to that effect and then all links on a webpage are either pink or blue. Pink ones are nofollow and blue ones are dofollow. Just find a post with comments and see if the "name field" is pink or blue.
The Firefox plugin is accurate, but there will need to be at least one comment on the page in order for you to check whether the anchor link text is nofollow or not (quick visual check if plugin is installed and option to view nofollow links is selected).
dofollow blog list is other way, you can check my sig - free backlink list, we always check the blogs, if they are change dofollow to nofollow.
Definitely using Firefox plugins, it's the easiest way to examine almost anything about a website's SEO, markup, CSS, images... really anything.
Same here. Its certainly the best and the most accurate, however sometimes you need to uncheck and recheck the 'highlight nofollow links' option to make it show the nofollow links.
If you are using a FireFox browser you can download a plugin called NoDollow it will show whether a blog is NoFollow or DoFollow when it highlight as blue it signifies as Do-Follow when it will highlight as pink it tags as NoDo Dollow.
